ATI® ICP Element Fluorine

Highly pure solution to increase the individual element fluorine in reef aquariums. Ideal for compensating element deficiencies and for daily element supply.

Dosage instructions:

  • 10ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the fluorine content by 0.2mg/l
  • Increase fluorine by a maximum of 0.3mg/l (15ml/100l or 15ml/26 gal) per day
  • The bottle contains 2,000mg of fluorine

Symptoms of low fluoride levels:

  • Pale colors and reduced gloss of LPS and SPS
  • Fluorine is needed for coloration for most corals (e.g. Goniopora, Acropora)
  • Fluorine is incorporated into the coral skeleton as calcium fluoride complex – in case of deficiency, coral skeletons become brittle

Causes of low fluorine content:

  • Strong growth of stony corals
  • Insufficient trace element supply
  • Too low content in salt mix
  • Excessive skimming and use of adsorbers and activated carbon
